For those asking about MSD, here’s a very good primer that I share with clients.
MSD are a risk-free, tax-free way to buy down lease interest rates, all the while being fully refundable to you. On the infiniti lease above, 9 MSD of $5850 (all that’s due at signing), save you $3276, or a 56% return on your money over 3 years. That’s a guaranteed return. You get that $5850 back at lease end. It’s a no-brainer. Where are you going to put this cash otherwise? CD rates are 2-3% before tax. The stock market is tanking.

Just sent an inquiry and was told that I quote “Apologies, I have no capacity”, what is that all about? I provided exactly what I was looking for in two different vehicles, extremely disappointed as they are not looking to help or earn a new customer.

Spam Sunday morning text from someone who has already wasted a bunch of my time churning quotes in dec, had me looking for cars and then said “since i extended my lease, I’ll hold off”. Nothing wrong with politely declining an inquiry. Please take the entitlement elsewhere.
