Any VacationHackrs?

Yeah, having a driver is a great option. We just didn’t go that route because of timing with the little one and we wanted more flexibility getting around, eating at different places, etc. Phuket has a ton of tourists, especially from India and Russia. Just mentioning it coz I never expected a lot of tourists from there :joy:

Beaches are great, clean, and never packed.

Anyone here experienced with traveling with RVs?

I’m considering renting an RV in the Salt Lake City area and drive through some of the National Parks in Utah.

We wanted to go to Yellowstone in the same trip as well, but that would easily add a week to the trip.

I have been to Thailand a few times. I feel like no matter when I went, the climate is the same – Hot !

It’s a nice place to zone out with superb hospitality and amazing cuisine! It has deep-rooted culture which I appreciate.

Of course! (I’m actually secretly rich /s)

I have 4 more q suites legs booked through May. Love the product.

Q suite for 3 to doha is like 4x the price of economy. So economy it is for me! I need to get into the cc point game but I really only use a cc for Amazon.

I think Thailand is the winner! At least for the first 10 days. After that ??? Maybe hit Tokyo on the way back or Hawaii. Still haven’t booked anything yet and leaving we’d/thurs

Indonesia - the other currency who are actually getting weaker against USD now . It’s not only Bali, plenty of other things to see. These are east & central java.

Check Raja ampat if you’re into snorkelling. Labuan bajo & komodo island are also another great place to see.

I was going to contradict you because I remembered what I paid when I went to Malaysia, but I just pulled up the email confirmation – and that was one way. (I booked a one-way on JAL for the way back.)

btw, god help you if Qatar loses your luggage.

Don’t jinx me but has never happened in my life. Would be fun to hit the market in Bangkok for a wardrobe though. My wife def wouldn’t be happy. And my son would prob have to wear 1993 Denver nuggets t shirts but I’m ok with that.

I pack super light in these hot places. Just need a few linen shorts and shirts tees and bathing suits.

God help you shopping for clothes in Asia unless you have a 24" waist.

Do it while you can… never know where life will take you… multiple rugrats, spouse, an airport that’s not a major hub… :joy: x1 or x2 is easy… then when you have to x4 during peak periods… :exploding_head::collision:

Not trying to jinx you at all; just do it while you can :joy:
Wish I could spend the time/energy to churn cards, but too many competing priorities :winking_face_with_tongue::grin:

I’ve heard so many horror stories about QR in case of IRROPS. QSuites are just way too nice though. Definitely the best business product I’ve flown in.

Time to book those on AS to earn 100K status

AS has reduced QR inventory, especially to North America :frowning:

Their elite WhatsApp line is very very very helpful. If you check inbound aircraft leaving Doha, you can know your tail before it’s too late. Policy if you’re booked in a qsuite aircraft is a complimentary change.
