Any S4 leasehack success stories?

So after a frustrating experience with my local BMW dealer (not being honest about MF) I have moved on from the 340i to either an S4 or Jaguar XE. The salesman for the latter seemed offended when I shared with him truecar pricing information and essentially said there is no way they can get there (this is on a 17 R Sport, mind you, not 18).

So I have started thinking more about the S4, but I know the 18 model is brand new and the truecar data suggests MSRP is about as good as it gets. Has anyone had luck on getting better S4 pricing?

I highly doubt you could get close to a good deal on an S4 right now. I was looking at those and the lease was close to 900$ with a 6% discount.

For the Jaguar though: I just bought an XE R-Sport, practically fully loaded and it fit the 1% rule. It is about $560 a month no money down taxes included (8.25%). The MSRP was just under 57,000 and the sale price was 52,500. I’m sure if you email around you can get that deal. The first Jaguar dealership didn’t want to get to that number (Same selling priice), they were at $630 a month which is ridiculous.

Now I have a very sexy Italian Racing Red V6 Jaguar. With cheaper insurance than my GTI!

Good luck.

Interesting - Jaguar dealers are somewhat few and far between in my area, but perhaps I should expand my search radius. I liked the XE… only concerns were rear window visibility and spacing in the back (two young kids would be back there).

Not gonna lie, the rear window sucks in visibility. It is tight back there, but kids will definitely fit. I had adults back there, and a friend who is around 6 foot and he did fit. The seats are surprisingly comfortable, but I am coming from bucket seats in my VW.

I’m in Chicago and there are only 5 dealers, but usually since they’re pretty low volume they’re willing to deal.

Which Chicago area Jaguar dealers did you try and which one gave you the best deal?

Npaerville, Motorwerks and Wilmette. The people at Wilmette didn’t even reply to my email. Naperville simply gave up after I told them the price I wanted to pay. I ended up buying at Elmhurst. They were really great honestly, no BS. I did everything over email and text. Went in just to sign and drive!
