I looked around and seems like most of Buick and Volvo’s are selling under MSRP, at least in my area (Atlanta, GA). BMW loaner cars can get some decent % off.
Worst I heard is one local MB dealership, adding 2,500 to MSRP to every single new vehicle.
There isn’t really a “brand” per se, it varies. You may be able to purchase X vehicle at a dealership for $500 off of MSRP, whereas the next guy wants $3K above for the same unit.
Also, a vehicle thousands under MSRP can still be a horrible deal. Again, it depends. I.e. there is a $5,000 incentive available and the dealer only came down $3,000 for the sale price.
Yes, but they jack up MF and other things. I have been negotiating on a Lexus for weeks and the dealer keeps trying to shell-game the numbers hoping I will not notice. It’s like whack-a-mole.
Weeks? lol The second round of games and I would drop contact with the dealer. I don’t believe in granting business to shady, borderline dishonest, dealers…whether they eventually give a good deal or not.
