Any leasing deals in MA?

I’m looking for leasing a AWD with good safety rating. Open to different makes and models. Any deals around?

Jeep compass or renegade at Quirk
Rav4 or crv at Boch

Chevy equinox via costco

Thanks! Here is one more dummy question. The monthly price posted on the website looks great. In general, is there any room for further negotiation?

The chevy deal is amazing. It’s such a misfortune that my Costco membership expired three months ago…

No generally for these specials, they don’t negotiate. If anything else, they may get you to spend more on warranty plans etc

Go to the dealer and post your quotes and people will advise with price or give their deal for comp.

Quirk refused to give me any details about discounted price or mf over the phone. Here is the price they quoted for renegade

MSRP 28,185
39month
10k per year
0 down and 1,750 for fees
259per month + tax

I’m having a hard time to persuade myself to drive all the way to Braintree. What’s the chance that they are going to give me a much better price if I show up in person?

Quirk is master of the bait and switch. I tried to help my cousin lease a Volt from Quirk Chevy earlier this year (they were advertising $145/month, $0 down…ha!), but every question I asked about the deal added money to the bottom line. Additionally, only 1 Volt in stock theoretically qualified for that pricing, which had like 15 asterisks.

If you have the patience of Ghandi and a few hours to waste, drive up there and check it out. Just be prepared for frustration and pain.

Go to the one in marshfield. The one they quoted does not sound bad since 28k renegade is fully loaded. Plus unless you know renegades inside out how will you know you like it? When calling ask for the internet sales manager. He is the one who deals with online inquiries. Tell them you Saw a renegade deal and wondering if it is still in stock.

Yeah marshfield is further down but maybe you can print the ad and bring to a closer dealer to see if they match. Grava jeep in medford and clark jeep are on I93 and they have deals too

Here is one from grava in medford. I would say that given that the factory incentive is $3000, you should be able to get another 3-4k discount for 7k discount. The 28k MSRP is a latitude trim, IMHO, if you push you can get this for under $200 with no money down. So you may not want to go all the way to Braintree but do head out to your nearest dealer for a test drive and don’t be afraid to ask if they will do a payment of $150 (and mention the ad). They will obviously hum and haw but the worst they can do is say no and you move on. You don’t need to buy from a dealer when you test drive and you don’t need to feel intimidated by their price either.

There is also a deal going on for highlander XLE, don’t know if this is too big for your needs

I’ve been trying to get a deal on an AWD highlander for the past month. You can get 5K or more off easily (12-13%) if you’re buying…but leasing…not so much (maybe 9% the most). Forget about most dealers even knowing what MSD is. I’ve brought it up and most have NO clue that Toyota financial even offers it and they refuse to do it. Good luck!

Boch Toyota

2016 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD Lease Lease requires approved credit; based on 12,000 miles per year, $0.15 per mile excess. 24-month lease. $3,248 due at signing (this includes $2,000 cash or trade down, first month’s payment of $199, documentary preparation fee of $399, and bank acquisition fee of $650). Tax, title, registration, and inspection fees are additional. Security deposit waived. MSRP: $40,025. Net Cap Cost: $32,929. Residual: $30,019.

This equates to what I said above 40k MSRP to 35K lease price. Net cap cost is showing the price after the 2K down payment (33K) which if you read this site is the worst possible thing you could ever do. NEVER put a down payment.

Yes you can roll the cap cost reduction into the payment which would bring it to under 300 a month + fees and taxes. Not a terrible deal for 40k car. All in, it looks like 350 a month for 24 months/12k which is okay deal. Definitely close to the front page deal.

Where did you see that photo/advertisement? can you send me the link?

Here is the front page deal and this deal is better than that - more off MSRP and XLE AWD instead of LE FWD. Also better discount. If you can negotiate more or convince them with MSD, then you are going to be under 300 easy.

Selling Price

A 2016 Highlander LE FWD has an MSRP of $32,955. Here in Southern California, the average selling price is approximately 5% off MSRP. We would target a selling price of $30,650 (7% off MSRP), which represents a “very good” price that most internet sales departments in the region should honor.

Putting It Together

Use the lease calculator below to customize your own inputs, such as MSRP, selling price, and residual. Every dealer sets its own selling price, depending on factors like inventory and demand. Here’s a sample deal of a 2016 Highlander LE FWD in Southern California assuming 7% off MSRP, excellent credit, and 12,000 miles per year.

Thanks, that’s the guys I’ve been dealing with and they are playing hardball…not even going near they’re own damn advertised prices. Thanks for the heads up on that.

I have no luck with several Jeep dealers. Residual for renegade after 36m/12k is a stunning 44%. Ended up getting a 320i

MSRP about 43200
MSD 2450 + first month + about 600 fees
329/month plus tax

Probably not a great deal here. Still nothing to complain. I’m not good at negotiating. Thanks everyone!

I think you got a great deal on the 320i –
