Looking for a short term lease (6-12 months) or flex lease where i can cancel before 12 months.
Parents are visiting from overseas for 6 months and will need a car for them.
Unfortunately, our car wont with them and our kids together.
Reluctant to trade in our car we bought 1.5 years ago. Renting a car from enterprise etc is just so costly. Thanks!

Check in the lease transfer section on here and on www.swapalease.com and see if anything looks like it could work.
A new lease is going to require an acquisition fee, dealer fees, etc…plus I know taxes are rough on leases in VA. Divide the cost by 6 and 12 months see how many hundreds a month that will be. A long term rental on Sixt or Turo or one of the main rental companies may work out more cost effective. See if your employer has a code or Perks at Work possibly and run those numbers.

Lease may not work, as typical lease agreements only allow the lessee or spouse/SO to drive the vehicle. Plus there’s the question of insurance… I’d go with Turo or something like that where the rental, insurance and liability can be separated.
