Actually, we had 2 buyers…one got declined and the other got approved IF they put a hefty down payment which they weren’t willing to do :sweat_smile: trying to push it out on here one last time lol but it’s definitely not an easy approval

Back in college I used to do some dealership (used car dealer) work. We’d see docs with extremely high incomes but credit was in 500-600.

90% of the time these type of deals get declined, the reason is “limited comparable auto”. Both credit score and income are usually on point, but it’s a big jump in the car’s msrp compared to other auto loans they have or have had. So it kinda sucks cuz when these deals come around and like…you can afford the payments, something that isn’t too relevant in specifically the lease deal (the car’s msrp) still gives you trouble with getting the approval.
