All the Leasehackers, help a newbie with 3row SUV LEASE

,

with Texas tax? Wow…

TFS does something kinda similar. If a buyer wants the the purchase rebate, they have to take the standard MF rate, which is actually higher than AFS’s .00215/.00225 MF.

It’s .00255 on Tier 1+

I was suggested in this forum
1120 drive off
$392 tax included monthly for 36/10
for XLE highlander

how is this possible ?

Where is this forum? And where is the vehicle going to be taxed?

it is from this forum haha, leasehackr, the dealer PM-ed me the numbers
I see tax of $153, no idea where it is taxed :frowning:

You’re going to have a lot more than $153 in taxes on this in Texas

I agree with this 100%. Recently I swapped cars with my brother in law to transport 7 people for a 200 mile road trip. Very good looking car but that’s About it. If you are over 200 LBS over 6ft tall and like to sit wide you will be in a lot of pain as your knees will bump against hard materials making it painful and a shitty drive.

What, 4.15% sales tax of selling price. Gonna be a lot more than that.

I thought it was 6.5% unless there’s tax credits, no?

Probably varies by county.

so the tax is coming from registration, or where you gonna drive ?

Calm down, brethren. It’s 6.25% of purchase price.

Where the car is registered

Ah, I was close.

So in theory, all the cars in local dealership are registered locally as well right ?

It’s based off your registration address.

I don’t get what you mean… There’s no county and parish tax here in TX. Just a state tax

How do different brokers give me different taxes then, based on where they are located ?

I am from LA area, california ), I am not the original author of this post )

They’re probably estimating taxes since they haven’t actually ran your application.
