Just tell him to register here, like other brokers, introduce himself and post some of his deals. And let people decide.
What a ramble. There are plenty of helpful brokers here, if this one wants business he should do as @Ursus said and post his deals.
I’ve contacted and tried to worked with over 5 SOCAL brokers and they all fell short compared to Nathan. Believe me, I’ve been doing this for years and know most brokers do NOT keep the customer’s needs as a priority. For example, the last deal I used Nathan he showed me ALL the dealership paper work and I saw their prices and his fees. But he decided to cut his fees to a 25 bucks to ensure the young first buyer got the best deal. In addition he stayed with the client to ensure she knew what she was signing (an hour). Who does that! Call it rambling but the truth is the truth.
He even helped my friends in Pensacola FL, Baltimore MD and South Carolina (a ford flex SEL to include shipping and best deal in SOCAL).
So you joined the forums 2 weeks ago and posted this only thread?
Welcome to the forum Nathan. Lol.

Not for nothing, but if you are paying a broker fee that broker better damn well be on your side, or you need to find a new broker.

Should we just kill this ad?
- Yes, smells like spam
- No, it’s awesome

@BoardWalkNJ - I take it as “yes”, come back and vote
For these things I usually lean toward “let the market decide.”
If consumers benefit he will thrive or vice versa. I think there are still a lot of underserved markets (most brokers tend to be NY or CA) so the adddition of new brokers to LH might benefit other regions.
I know this particular broker is in CA but you never know when someone might expand into new areas. After all NYClife wasn’t even a broker originally but look how he’s grown
It’s easy for us “veteran” hackrs to dismiss the need for brokers but a lot of people need them. Let’s not become Soviet era central planners
I agree with that but I think (just a personal opinion) if there isn’t initial transparency (i.e acknowledging what a LH deal is considered against where they are with their deals - ensuring they are the broker and not a friend of the broker - the full breakdown of the deal and what regions are served) push back will ensue 90% of the time. Considering how lucky the community is to have people like Quentin, Tricia, Dave etc. (sorry if you’re not mentioned directly) when offers or services are provided that don’t meet the rubric they’ve set as an example I think it creates a “grab the popcorn” thread.
My issue here is that if a broker wants to post, they should come here themselves and post, sharing some of their deals. I agree generally that brokers and dealers serve an important purpose here and we don’t want to scare them off.
Give it time. At the outset not everyone will be familiar with the level of transparency or format expected here.
If he can’t or won’t step up, this thread will wither away and die on its own.
It’s not about market, it’s about spamming. I’m all for new brokers to join, but against someone doing promotion for them, that looks no better than dealers’ bait-and-switch ads. Which, IMO, only does damage. I had the same issue with the guy who was pumping “fair” and he stopped as soon as I pointed it out.
I mean this isn’t even the broker posting it’s purely an ad from some random account claiming to be a happy customer. This site draws a crowd off of the hard work from real posters and brokers who contribute, moochers shouldn’t get a free ride.
Spam is def bad. But there probably needs to be a higher threshold of what constitutes “spam”
Hey guys this is NO SPAM.
I have a really tough time believing there is nothing in it for you.
