The prices are competitive. It’s just the way he structured the deal - like a typical dealer ad. I’m pretty sure that Audi would not be happy with a dealer offering special deals in a forum, separate from what is offered publicly. That’s why Audi Donnie and Sam don’t do this. They only give custom quotes.

@Jamieaudifj Transparency is probably the most important merit of this community and experienced members do their best to keep it that way. Even perceived tricks will be called out even if you did not mean that. Just read broker reviews and you will see what is valued most.

Thank you all for the input. We only did it that way since sales tax varies by city and we wanted to be as accurate as possible. We have already quoted several deals to the forum with the totals you are looking for.

Demanding SSN before giving a quote is the one of the worst dealership business practices I’ve ever seen.

@Samaudibh has some of the most aggressive Audi deals here, so we are happy to see another FJ dealership join the LH community.
Jamie - you guys do out of state deals right? It’s worth mentioning because there are lots of people who would travel to CA if there’s a good deal on the table.
Absolutely! We do them all the time. There are a few states we cannot lease in, but other than that, we are good!!

You know, I had decent numbers from their Fremont Merc store. THe GM was … a-grade hole but overall deals were decent.

I leased a car from your dealership last month and ran into the “no quote without SSN” issue - hopefully you’re right that management has chosen to go away from that policy.
When I told my rep I have 840+ credit and showed a live shot of my bank FICO I was still asked to sign a credit release, which I refused. The reason they said I needed to fill it out was “because some people lie about their credit” which obviously has nothing to do with giving a quote.
At the end of the day I ended up getting a car from you, and I am very happy that you no longer push clients for SSN’s before getting quotes, that’s a great change!
