Ya it would have been nice to know that and they should have discussed that with you at time of purchase so in your case you could taken advantage of the install since the 2 year free charging does not work for you. So looks like you need to wait until they enter your info into their portal at the dealership and typically that is done by the sales manager or general manager there. Keep me updated on your status. I will wait until tomorrow and try to get an update from my dealership since they mentioned the sales manager will be in early this week.
If it is any consolation, if you chose qmerit the estimate would have probably been close to 3k, you still would have paid ~$1325 towards the install. The qmerit quote I got was consistently 1500 more than the other bids I received. I repurposed a dryer circuit or a hard wired EVSE (ChargePoint), limited to 24 amps continuous. I would have preferred to use the credit to pay towards a new 60 amp service in the garage, however the current charger is doing just fine or our driving habits. I also won’t get hardly any use out of the EVGo fast charging, I got lucky the two road trips we have taken had a convenient EVGO charger when I needed it. Chances are the convenient chargers will not be EVGO and you almost feel like you need to use it because it’s paid for.
Just an update on my 2 year free EVgo charging. So today I finally received the email from Cadillac that EVgo has received my request. And then after that email I received another email with my code with instructions. I had to call to Cadillac EV Concierge yesterday to check on status (since my salesperson told me that manager had added my info on Monday, but EV Concierge mentioned nothing was added). So while I was on the phone with them they contacted my dealer and resolved the issue and told me that sales manager will be adding your info today and you should get the code/instructions by tomorrow (which is today). So you need to make sure that your dealership has add your info to the portal first and once that is done then you will get the follow up emails.
Leased a 25 Lux 1 loaner 2 weeks ago. $448 $1400 down(included 1st payment and registration $750 Indiana) 15k miles. If you are on the fence just do it! Coming from a 22 XT6 Sport it’s night and day. Fast, smooth and fun. Miss the ventilated seats and audio is average. Outside of that amazing! I wouldn’t go up in payment for ventilated seats.
How many miles was on the loaner? $448 is woth tax included? Which incentives did you qualify? Just the loaner or did you have conquest too? AWD or RWD? MSRP?
- Around 1200
- Tax included- Indiana is 7% of payment monthly
- Employee EV $2500, Lease Loyalty $2000, Loaner Demo $2500
- AWD
Only options were red tricoat and floor mats. Can rep a dealer in St Louis area that is favorable to duplicate. Yes I drove from Indiana. I can post the paperwork when I get some time.
Also from Indiana (northern) and LYRIQ lessee. I drove to Iowa from a referral on this forum. I could not find any dealers in Indiana/illinois/ohio/Michigan with demos that were discounting more than ~4% off without baking in addons or juicing the money factor. Enjoy!
I cannot find a chevy or cadillac dealer in Indiana that wants to deal. I picked up a 24 blazer RS EV from a dealer in cincinatti for $248.00 month (Delivered). I def liked the cadillac dealer in St. Louis and they seem interested in dealing in the future.
What sort of discount did you get on your loaner? What was your overall deal as far as payments and DAS?
December 2024. Program and rebates have changed. Details below.
- 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Tech RWD Demo
- MSRP - $62215
- Discount - $4,855 (~7.8%)
- Selling price - $57,360
- Rebates - $8,000 (Conquest (3k), Supplier EV (1k), Costco (1k), Demo (2.5k), GM Card Signup $500)
- Buy Rate MF - no markup
- 24 month / 10k per year GM Finance lease
- 1k Down - $235 per month ( including 7% state sales tax)
Good you didn’t take their charger install deal because the qmerit quotes we did were way inflated.
