I do not care about residual since I will never buy the car at lease end.
Is it a decent deal?
Thank you for your feedback

Very bad. These vehicles were here last month in high 300s low 400s per month on 24 month lease

Not the Autograph and this is a 36 month 12K miles, not a 24/7.5K

That makes the residual that much more important. The higher the residual, the lower your monthly payment. Also, depending upon your usage and car’s condition, you may have equity in the vehicle that you can leverage if you trade it. That equity can go directly into your pocket or used as a cap reduction. I do this all the time.

Do the 24/10 deal it should be better. You can buy miles if needed for .10 cents a mile.

Have you driven one? Car looks nice but they went cheap with the engine and it drives like a turd with that underpowered 4 cylinder.

There are way better options for your price.

Of course. There are several inputs that can lower the payment including higher dealer discount, higher cap reductions, higher residuals, greater term, lower capped fees, lower money factor.

I was responding only to the OP’s statement that they didn’t care about the residual as they weren’t going to buy the car at lease termination. Even so, there are reasons to care about the residual as I indicated in my post.

You can extend 3 months at lease end. 24, 27 and 33 will all be cheaper than 36

Thanks, I will check with the dealership.
Working on convincing my wife that we can lease for a shorter time and less miles.
About the car, I agree it is not the most perfomant one available but we like it.

To answer the original question. Is this a “good deal” arguably - no.

Slow engine, not engaging drive, OKish interior, compromised shape

I know because I have a 27 QX60, its not a “fun” car. But for the price, 3rd row, 24 mo lease - it fit the bill for me. Mainly because it was 14.1% off.

I drove an autograph and ended up with the Lux because other than a slightly better stereo, and some upgraded stitching and wheels - the Lux is a better value.

If you have to have this exact car, shop around. “Deals” can be had on 24 months with less miles.
At $822 you are in GLE, Q5, X3 territory.
