Official reveal:
Superficially looks āokay,ā but the spec references indicate the usual compromises needed to accommodate the battery pack, so itāll be kind of misshapen like the current 5-Series (right down to the cheap-a$$ black plastic panel in the C-pillar; the interior pics show a huge blind spot there). Maybe the shorter hood will compensate somewhat. And, hopefully, the ICE 3-Series will have better proportions and wonāt have the same plastic panel in the C-pillar.
I like the new interior but donāt understand why German car makes are so obsessed w/ fabric backlit by scribbles and why this needs vertical spokes on the steering wheel.
Gotta see it in person. Its an electric car so I mean look at the Hyundaiās and the Kiaās even the Teslas looked weird when they were released. Lets see how it goes.
I dont get this. The current curved display JUST came out what, 2-3 years ago? How are they moving past it so quickly?
Yeah, Iām with you on this one. Pretty significant updates for just an LCI. The exterior looks very promising. An LCI exterior with the OG interior wouldāve made the best 7 Series after the E38, IMO. It feels like BMW is changing things just for the sake of changeāthings no one really asked for.

Yeah, but is us getting used to weird designs actually a good thing??? Should I be de-sensitized to the Lexus spindle or the Audi shield??? 
This is the i3 based on the new platform, not the ICE version. Although presumably the ICE version will look very similar inside and out.

So far based on all pics, I can say that if anyone like an X5 or M340, now is the best time to grab a build or if your driving one already, be prepared to buy it out at end of lease !

Thatās awesome man. We are enjoying our first one, a 2022 X7 40i which we bought CPO and has been mostly flawless now coming up on one year next month. So tempted to look at the LCI version at some point. Do you have the 6 or 8 cylinder?
