2026 Cadillac Vistiq Courtesy Lease Proposal

There is some more nuance, but the discount from the dealer (not incentives from the manufacturer) is the main negotiable factor, and the primary measure of whether you’re getting a good deal or not.

The manufacturer incentives will help you determine if the deal makes the car a good value, but that’s a separate concept.

The payment and DAS are just outputs, and not themselves measures of the quality of a deal.

One can not effectively negotiate without knowing where you’re trying to get to. Playing dealers against each other only tells you which of those two dealers is the least bad.

A data-point in SoCal. 2 weeks ago, saw a broker post base Vistiq loaner for $599+tax with $4k DAS including conquest. Reached out, it was gone. Tried a few dealers, asking for same deal, no luck. One called back on the 30th. Took the deal.

Gosh, I have so much to learn if I want to make this a proper “deal”.

Thank you for all your help.

Yea to me that’s not a bad deal at all. The one that called back, offered you the same deal you initially wanted? Not bad!

Yeah, told me IMPOSSIBLE at first. Ended up increasing dealer discount to match my number. Also used GM Card for DAS, which should give me about $1k in points, if I understand that program right. Too bad I couldn’t get supplier discount.

Yea this is what I was aiming for, the dealer to increase their discount to get the vehicle off their lot. I know end of the month is usually best time to try so I have a few weeks to figure out my strategy.

Good luck. In the meantime, look for any broker deals to popup, preferably near you. At the very least gives you an idea of what a realistic offer looks like.

Where does one find these broker deals? Here on this site?

You can filter further by region. Pay attention to when the deal was posted.

The vistiqs are awesome… I’d just spend some time sending out offers. Great offers take some time… I typically contact at least 5 dealers sometimes 10. Look at recent offers in your area… know what discounts you qualify for and give them a number you are looking for… if they can’t get there or close enough.. just let them know thanks but you aren’t really flexible on the numbers .. feel free to call you back if things change.

Yes, this is exactly what I plan to do in about 1-2 weeks and then maybe by month’s end, some will reach back out and make me an offer.

Thank you for this suggestion!

I also live in metro Detroit and had the same problem with local dealers. Found a dealer in NY and got a demo vistiq for $588/month at the end of the summer. I would recommend going out of state. Shipping was $700 but I put down a little less than your quote so was a win for my family. Also 24 months and 10k miles. The Vistiq has been incredible so good luck!
