In keeping w/ the relatively quiet release (in terms of placement on a landing of page) of possibly significant cars (are auto makes just not forking over the advertising dollars they used to?):
I assume they’ll fork out more for web ads once people can actually buy it ![]()
Lots of cool things in that video. But for me the panoramic display and that funky shaped primary display seem strange. Great that pano is configurable though.
If you aren’t in the target market it’s unlikely you’ll see a lot of ads, but that doesn’t men they aren’t out there.
Sorry, meant to say that my memory is that, back when a new, “significant” car debuted, it would be front-and-center in an auto mag (including the on-line form).
Both the Prelude and iX3 were relegated to somewhere away from the main articles, which seemed odd. Wondered if neither had been paying for much in the way of ads for those particular automotive publications.
Right before I posted that I realized that I’d been watching YouTube after unknowingly being logged out.
The stuff other people watch. ![]()
It isn’t being sold in the US until next summer…Europe is getting a bigger rollout as configurator is live there already.
I like the looks of it tho…especially the 50 M Sport with star spoke wheels!
Totally agree!
So I don’t log in to YouTube, but it still tracks you even w/o logging in.
I once cleared my cache, and the content that was being fed was terrifying (to me). This world is a f*cking sick place….
wow that configurator is so next level compared to the US
