2026 BMW iX3 lease launch timing & deal expectations

,

We are not!

When the MY2022 iX came out, there was no $7,500 EV Credit being offered as a lease incentive.

The i4 also, for a while actually, had $0 in lease rebates.

In both of those cases, BMW held out as long as possible before adding any rebate cash to those vehicles (and frankly, it makes sense why they would).

So no, this would not be factual.

I think best case they lower the money factor, .0022 is kind of their “standard rate” right now for anything they don’t want to incentivize.

I agree with you that they should maybe start out a little stronger, but realistically, if I’m BMW, and I have a hot newly anticipated model coming out, why would I incentivize it at all until the market demand shows it’s necessary?

We all seem to love talking about distressed inventory and how badly manufacturers and dealers need to move cars to the benefit of everyone here, but people don’t seem to love it when it’s the other way around, hah.

Thanks, Scott for clarifying…yeah I’m probably going to be looking for a stopgap BEV. Glad the deposit is refundable Lol

From what I have heard, its a hit in the European market.

Absolutely nothing to add to this thread other than I saw one of these things for the first time last week in Munich and it doesn’t look half bad. This coming from someone who barfs at the sight of an iX or new X3.

Newer BMW’s just don’t photo well…I love how our new X3 M50 looks in person with the staggered fat tires and quad pipes!!!

Looks really good imo. The whole retro modern design trend seems to really appeal to people (including myself). Hyundai made that really exciting vision N concept car too that people really loved. Imagine if MB went back to the boxy 1980s body style for their EVs instead of these ugly Lima bean pods on wheels…I think they would kill it.

They apparently had to add another shift to keep up with demand. I doubt it’ll be as big a hit in the US because of our weirdo EV FUD, but I expect that’ll it do relatively well.

Looks like BMWNA pulled their May lease program off the site as it’s no longer there…maybe there is hope lol

It’s really of no consequence since it’s not lockable in any case at this point.

Man, I have to give you credit; you are ever the optimist!

No, I get that…but any thoughts as to why BMWFS would even offer a May lease program for a car 4-5mos out? Msrp is one thing, which as we know was revealed on May 6, but what’s the point of advertising lease numbers, other than to scare the sh!t out me?! lol

Perhaps @IAC has some insider knowledge, but I think you’re reading into this a bit much. It could just as likely be the marketing/web team saying, “Every car on the website has a lease offer, this one needs one too”, without realizing the car won’t even be on the ground or leaseable for months out…

Exactly, or “these annoying people from internet forums keep pestering our dealers for lease pricing for a car that won’t be available for 5 months, so just put something, anything out there…”

You’re experienced enough to know this will lease like shit for the first few months. Early adopters who need to be the first to have what’s shiny and new always operpay, especially when there’s actual demand.

I’m in a state of denial that it won’t be that bad…but I’m actively searching a backup plan currently

If you are getting 9% off you can probably walk away at 3rd or 4th month by transferring it out.
