2026 BMW iX3 lease launch timing & deal expectations

,

I was already extending it to take delivery in Oct

How many months? You could squeeze them for up to 6 with “special circumstances”.

Yeah, I know. It’s only for 2 if all goes according to plan. I ground it in Aug and delivery is expected in Oct. But then I’m due for inspection, BEV registration, and tires are on their way out, etc…I’ll just be cautiously optimistic that the rates get better, considering the iX3 isn’t comparable to an iX and the higher rates when that was first introduced. But I’m willing to walk if need be

From Georgia.

BMW iX3 orders started today, No dealer incentives. Is it advisable to wait few months? My i4 lease ends in September. Can broker get any deal now or in few months.

Be sure to specify your location when asking for input on a deal! Tagging by state (e.g. CA, NJ, NY, usa-nationwide) is mandatory.

Please tag if your question involves to a specialized topic (e.g. tax, legal, shipping etc.). You will reach experts faster that way. View all tags at Leasehackr Forum .

If you asked for a deal check, circle back after you have signed a deal – the community always loves to hear back! Submit your deal to SIGNED! (https://share.leasehackr.com).

I’d wait until it arrives to come to that decision.

6% off seems pretty standard for a factory order

I don’t think most dealers will offer anything until the initial demand dies down. Whether that takes a month, three months, etc is what remains to be seen. It also depends on if BMW allocates a lot of them initially, or makes the availability somewhat limited.

Remember, this forum is not the norm, there are plenty of people who leased an iX when it first came out paying $1,300/mo+ that will be thrilled about one of these even with next to no discount.

Fortunately my lease ends in Mid Dec, hope there will be some incentives. If they wanna mess then I am getting R2

Why no one’s talking about EX60. It even has the B&W system, and pricing is very similar to ix3

Because it’s the same looking 10 yo XC60

Yea I’m of the opinion that brands that are doing very low key, modest design evolutions, with the exception of Porsche, are being punished. The current generation of Audis are not vastly different from prior models and yet are somehow entirely unremarkable. Same with Volvo. BMW seems to bet big on design language and it pays off more often than not.

I think they also make some of the most well built and fun driving vehicles for the price point.

Honda Odyssey is like 10 years old and we still can’t get a good deal on one. Not even @djrabbi

Because people who buy minivans don’t care.

I don’t recall seeing much discounting on any minivans. From what I looked up, Kia is catching up fast h in the segment at the moment…and the Carnival is definitely a much bolder design.

The Minivan Wars Are Heating Up, And Honda Is Losing

Jesus for $150 more im paying for an XM. I domt think I could ever stomach a 4 digit payment on an X3…ev or gas (including M and M comps).

Won’t insurance on the iX3 be pretty pricey too?

My iX insurance was about 50-60% what Model X insurance was.. :man_shrugging:

Oh wow, interesting!

@IAC_Scott Aren’t we forgetting that despite the iX’s initial high lease rates, there was always the $7500 EV credit in addition to a healthy amount of BMWFS rebates to offset those rates? In fact all of BMW’s BEVs have carried some amount of relatively high rebates with or without the Fed credit. Now that those monies are long gone, coupled with this country’s lackluster BEV adoption, I’m cautiously optimistic that there will be some combination of factors that will make the iX3 lease comparable to an X3 out the gate. Moreover, the iX3 is a substantially lowered class car compared to the iX, so it won’t make sense to make it out of reach bc of initial lease rates (which is the majority of BMW buyers, especially with BEV). I think it’s assumed by BMW, that early adopters should expect to pay msrp, so these lease rates will need to be more realistic. I’m just at a loss as to why BMWFS would even advertise a May program when SOP is 4 months away??
