2025 Volvo XC90 plug in lease offer

A bit late to the game but I have an offer from a dealer as follows. Only have today to sign papers.

Msrp $76k
Discount 10% off
24/12k
14k incentives
Zero down. Everything rolled into monthly
$492/month (tax included) 23 payments
$6k in msds

I didn’t questions on whether they kept base mf of .00309 or not. Unfortunately, not enough time to go around hunting. So, just want to know if this deal makes sense

Thanks

$6k in MSDs doesn’t make sense if your payment is $492. You may have $1k DAS plus $5k in MSDs?

That’s exactly what I asked the dealer
They said there is zero down. The monthly before applying msds is $561/month. That would be $6k msds. They marked up the mf.
But after applying msds, payments are at $492/month

That doesn’t sound right to me. My MSDs were based off monthly using the rate discount. My monthly with MSD was $3500 because my payment was $306 with MSDs.

Do you have a deal sheet that has everything itemized?

They are calculating MSDs incorrectly. It should be a multiple of payment after the MF reduction and resulting payment.

The only distinction is with 1st month waiver, I think @Ursus mentioned its calculated based on payment before 1st month waiver, but it wouldn’t be that much of a difference in your case.

Nothing special about this deal so why the rush

Yeah, it isnt like my previous leases which I thought were really good
But for California, a sub $500 lease on a 24/12 seems reasonable(?)

I think they are incorrect on the msds. I asked for the itemized sheet

Did you sign?

You can push for 12% off MSRP.

Well, it depends. Do you need a new car right now?

Haven’t signed yet
Don’t really need a car now but will need one in Feb when my current lease expires. I guess if the deal isn’t spectacular, I can wait it out
But I do need a 3 row SUV so this sub $500 seemed decent considering any other 3 row SUV will be more

Then, tell the dealer you will sign if they agree to the deal below.

I don’t think you get to 490 per month with 10 percent and 14k rebate , and 12k

My deal at 15k rebate , 10k, and 11.5 percent is 430

Your deal should effectively be 3k worse which should ne in the mid 500s

I’m guessing you meant to respond to @Tamkhan.

It’s 15k in rebates
The payment without msds I believe would be in the 500s

The payment is most likely plus tax, otherwise the MSDs don’t make sense. Have them send you the deal in writing before you go in.
