Thanks for the info! Toyota is one of the brands I won’t go for personally so I guess I don’t have to worry about that haha.
Why are you paying a broker fee on a Lucid?
It comes with a charger, doesn’t have rear shades
The Lucid lease contract includes a Total Loss/Gap Waiver. You shouldn’t need to purchase outside Gap Insurance.
Total Loss/GAP Waiver. You agree to notify the Lessor and your insurer immediately in the event the Vehicle is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair and you agree to coordinate with your insurer and take all steps necessary to ensure payment to Lessor by the insurer on the claim. You agree to cooperate fully and to refrain from accepting a cash settlement without our consent. If you have complied with all provisions of this Lease and the Vehicle is declared a Total Loss by the insurer, you will have no further liability once we have received (1) all amounts due under the Lease as of the date of Total Loss, (2) an amount equal to the deductible and any other subtractions from the actual cash value made by the insurer, and (3) the insurance proceeds from the policy required under the Lease. If the Vehicle is a Total Loss and the requirements of this Section are not satisfied, you will owe the Standard Early Termination Liability less the Turn-in Fee. During the period between the report of expected Total Loss and the final settlement of your account, you will be required to continue to make Monthly Payments but you will be credited for all payments made after the date of Total Loss.
By any chance, do you know if insurance for Lucid is higher than for Tesla?
It varies from insurance company. I’m an insurance broker and I can write with several insurance companies in states across the US.
I priced out my insurance with different insurance companies and some charged more for Tesla while others charged more for the Lucid. It was also different depending on the state. The same insurance company charged less for my Tesla in NJ and more for my Lucid while they charged less for my Lucid in FL and more for my Tesla in FL. I quoted all levels of the Lucid and I also tested quotes on Models S3XY.
Do you do insurance in MI? Would not mind switching over if the price is better.
He is referring to an i4
My Lucid was slightly more expensive than my Tesla M3. About $10 or so, I believe.
Not bad, only thing is I had an accident (not at fault) a couple months ago. Price for insurance already went up, I just hope it doesn’t go up a lot more after car switch.
Feel free to use my referral code if you are planning to get a Lucid. I absolutely love the car.
My code is not maxed out yet.

Thank you!

Feel free to reach out to my sales advisor:
Alexis Membreno at Lucid 561-421-3768
Alexismembreno@lucidmotors.com
Tell him Noah referred you.
I was speaking with Alexis today and he couldn’t find a base model touring at the sites in PA, MA, GA, or FL.
Hmmm… Lucid must be low on inventory. Maybe give it a little time for new builds to arrive and check again. I picked up a base model Touring in Miami a couple weeks ago. I see a blue one with an MSRP of $81,700 in West Palm Beach, FL which would come out to $709/m before taxes or $65/m over a base Touring which would come out to $644/m. The color adds $800 and the Comfort and Convenience Package adds $3,000 which I wish I got on mine. I got my Touring for $685/m (pre-tax) and would gladly take this one for $709/m to get the Comfort and Convenience Package.
Def low on inventory.
Rn having an issue with the credit app, I ended my tesla lease which was over what the lucid payment would be, and now lucid isn’t accepting my credit app, could it be that I applied the same day I returned the Tesla so its still on my credit?
What’s in the comfort and convenience package that makes it so worthwhile? Or, put another way, what is lacking
you get the sunshades in the back with it Idk what else but thats an important one for me that I missed out on sadly.
Although I may no longer be getting the car as Bank of America is very strict with their credit app…
The Lucid Air, without the Comfort and Convenience Package (CCP) has a poorly designed door closing mechanism. Normal door closing does not work. You really need to slam the doors shut for it to close fully. I often find myself having to re-close my door very often. The CCP adds soft close doors where the last inch auto closes. Other creature comforts include rear and side sunshades, 4-zone climate, rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, and auto-close frunk. The CCP is a must have just for the soft close doors.
