Agree with you, but then when I read on the Lucid forum, people that are buying Lucid Airs are coming from Model 3 or even Y (of course S too). So, I would say Tesla is their main competitor and what most people that are looking at Lucid compare them too. Make sense, since Tesla has such huge market share.
I have been following Lucid even before the Air was released. Peter Rawlings (CEO of Lucid) was hoping to attract folks who were driving German cars to be Lucid converts. They initially had a slow start when it came to sales, but I think things for them are turning around. If you look at Lucid 's price point for the Air (nearly $80k for a base model), the Model 3 and Y don’t even come close.
This will be the case for a long time, since they practically had a 10+ year head start on EV development, production, and charging infrastructure.
Anyway, Lucid needs to keep ramping up production of the Air and the Gravity SUV for them to increase their market share.
Agree with you and I have been too. Even have a Gravity on reserve. Just saying I am seeing quite a few new Air owners going from Model 3/Y to Air Pure.
On a lease with Lucid it is much more aggressive than a Tesla and blows it away on lease prices for 18 mos. A Lucid Air GT lease beats a Model S LR or Plaid lease and a Lucid Air Pure lease beats a Model 3 if you use all of their incentives.
2024 pure with in stock discount.
if you were to buy this car out right after leasing it, it would be less than $60k out the door with taxes, tags, etc. 2024 lucid air pure vs a loaded tesla model 3? i’d take the lucid…

I was able to find a air 2024 still floating around. I’m trying to decide between leasing the 2024 or leasing a 2025.
I have 10k air credit 500 referral 5000 on site 7500 EV credit. My payment is still around $624 the money factor change. My credit is excellent. Net Cap on the car is about 53k. Is this worth it?
Is it a Touring? 2024 may have different deals over the 2025. They havent displayed information about 2024 leftovers. Personally, whatever the better deal or car you want is better.
Lucid Air Pure. I think it’s a good deal. The financing has been a NIGHTMARE…
Any deals here below $500/m?
If you ask a sales guy they’ll tell you SURE! Just put $15,000 down .
Wow. It looks that bad in January?
$1100/m for Lucid?
Hmm…
Anyone get any hard number this month?
I think deals were better last year. My biggest issue with Lucid is the base car lacks many features you find in similarly priced cars and even cheaper cars. Once you add those features you are close to $1k/mo which is just not attractive to me. I would still take my Tesla over the Lucid… even the new Model 3.
