Added a couple of pictures and updated the mileage.
Is it still up? Updated numbers please
Updated 3 days ago. The car hasnāt moved since.
update the mileage and added incentives
I guess not, since itās been here for seven months. lol
hello, why should the new leasee pay any MSD? are you recouping from your original lease?
miles per month seems pretty low for an EV (which is fun to drive )
750*22 = 16500
+
5250
21750+500
So I would be paying
22250+taxes by the end of the lease term, is that correct?
seems too much IMO as I am new to LH. correct me if I am wrong thinking this is too high/expensive.
Because the new lessee gets them back at the endā¦
So yes, your math is wrong. MSDās are refundable to the contract holder at the end of the lease.
Why is a great question; MSDs (Multiple Security Deposits) help reduce the money factor- essentially the interest rate - on a lease. By putting down additional refundable deposits at the start of the lease, the leasing company assumes less risk, and in return, they offer a lower money factor. This results in a lower monthly payment, making the lease more cost-effective over its term. Unlike a down payment, MSDs are fully refundable at the end of the lease, assuming thereās no excess wear or mileage.
Technically, my offer comes out to $750 per month for the remaining 20 months, totaling $15,000. However, Iām also providing a $750 credit, which effectively brings your monthly cost down to $712.50. On top of that, youāre getting a prorated month since Iām about to make the payment for August.
This is a great deal. If Iāve learned anything watching transfers the last 3-4 months, I will never do MSDs again if thereās a 1% chance Iāll transfer it.
so more like a security deposit I thought it was a point buy down, but instead Iām lending the leasing company some money interest free. is that the correct understanding?
No.
There was an interest rate reduction.
The ROI on BMW leases is usually 7-10% annually
Thanks, it all makes sense.
Thank you Car Rhino. That makes sense - since very few people understand it, MSDs actually make strong financial sense.
You donāt have to sell me. They absolutely do! Theyāre just a financial hurdle for those looking to assume it seems.
