2025 Cadillac Optiq Deal Check

Definitely should’ve walked

I’ve been trying to replicate this deal and most dealers are astonishingly incompetent. They come back with $12k one pay lease, or $580 a month or something insane. Once I see that I just hang up and move to the next one. I will find the dealer who actually knows how to get these incentives loaded right at some point.

Putting emotions aside, I thought $7800 was still a really good deal. I looked at the marketplace, none of the brokers had anything even close to $325 all in monthly payment, advertised Cadillac offers were even worse.
I yet have to see if any of the other posters were able to replicate either $5800 or $7800 deal.
Personally, I’m pretty happy with the $7800 deal.

If someone manages to get same/lower deal please let me know. If nothing else so I know what to look for in 24 months :winking_face_with_tongue:

Try making offers directly to the sales managers with the incentives you qualify for clearly layed out.

Funny enough I had the same experience with the out of town dealer. Was quoted 6500 1 pay last month but ended up getting it for 7800 after a GM finance mess up like what they did for you.

But yea to your point, anything in the 6-8k range is a good deal for Optiqs imo. There def is room to hack it with the stacked incentives if you find a dealer willing to play ball

Wow! That’s pretty crazy ‘coincidence’

Alright, I finally got one.

Took weeks of calling around and 99% of dealers are completely clueless about incentives and rebates, where they are applied on the deal sheet, etc. Some dealers apply the rebates to the price of the car, and finally found one to apply the rebates to the one pay amount.

Got a sport 1 brand new 10 miles for $7917, but the finance lady said it “wouldn’t fund” because something is less than the residual so she had to bump it to $8200. 24/10 lease One pay.

I thought it was fine and drove off after 20 minutes of paperwork. It’s really too bad the online GM form is so broken and the dealers are so incompetent. It would be so nice to truly check out and order online, then just pick up the car with no hassles.

Nice car, gotta chase down a few rattles and wind noise issue here and there, but overall for the price its probably as nice as it gets. Maybe I should have ordered the sport 2 to get the ventilated seats, but that was a 50% increase in cost.

Good for you!!!
$8200 is a great deal for Sport 1. The residuals on all these GM cars are so manipulated cause they use the $7,500 EV credit towards the residual instead of upfront.
I’d have loved to check out online, I’d even pay for home delivery just to avoid the dealer…

And pay entire $5800 using that card.
Also there is 0% interest for 9 months.

You are absolutely right.
I was wondering why they were using the EV credit to inflate the residual.
I’ve reached out to several dealers in the Bay Area and all of them are friggin clueless.
Best I got so far is 2k down $470 a month, 2 yrs…

where in the country are you located? trying to replicate a similar deal in CA and have been striking out with dealers too.

It’s really amazing. Literally 15 dealers I called and talked to sales manager “I want to buy a sport 1 optiq today, send lease numbers for 24/10 one pay with all the listed incentives” They would come back with $13k, $12,800, $580 a month, etc.

It seems the confusion is HOW the dealers are applying the incentives. $1250 costco+$1000 supplier+$2000 EV lease cash. Then you have an extra $2000 optiq loaner cash if eligible. Some dealers apply those to the MSRP. Some dealers apply those directly to the One pay amount as calculated.

I am not sure which is the right way to do it. But only 1 of probably 15 I called was able to give me that rate.

You need to make offers breaking everything out, not ask for quotes. Tell them what you are willing to pay and what you qualify for. “If you accept, I will be there in an hour.” They aren’t going to give you some blowout deal when you ask for a quote because someone will say yes to their “quote.”

What @SteveB25 said. At the very least counter all 15 you contacted with an offer. They are not confused. You’re just letting them play confused.

Got it. Thanks for the feedback. This was my first one so I will be better prepared in the future. I cant wait!

With the Onepay , what is the stipulation if there is a total loss on the car? Do you get pro rated returned ?

Also, what is the supplier rebate? Do you actually work for a supplier or is it something we all could get?
