If that m60 isn’t new it may not get full 9900. I think there’s only one new one left locally, only a handful nationwide. The loaners and brass hats are mostly with “we know what we got” dealers. Not saying that matching that deal’s is impossible but it surely isn’t easily achievable. Good luck!
Just clarifying. This is not an actual offer that a dealer has made. It is just your proposal that you have submitted to a dealer. Is that correct?
That’s right. Sorry if it is confusing.
They confirmed it’s new, but they told me there’s no incentive/rebate. Why are they lying to me?
Wait , you didn’t get 18% off before incentives? and 12k in incentives? What?
Hahahahaha everyone here is freaking out and this wasn’t even a real deal to begin with.
I’m starting to think this is a troll account…
You want them to match a loaner car discount on a new car? Why should/would they do that?
This is absolutely confusing in light of your latest clarification. You should probably edit your original post to the below so people first seeing this thread aren’t misled to believe there is a dealer insane enough to offer you 18% off MSRP on a NEW 2025 iX:
I am from Socal and currently in contact with a dealer out of state for the below offer [that I made to them and which they have not yet accepted]. I want to check with you to see if this is a [realistic offer to make to an out of state dealer that will have to deal with an out of state client on a brand new iX that has at most received a 12-14% off MSRP discount by others historically]. I appreciate your inputs.
That’s one hell of a Shyamalan twist!
I am with you on your thought here. Anyone who won’t lease a new car at a great price because he saw that someone else got a better deal on a loaner is not serious and just playing games.
I’m really starting to believe the troll account theory
You should totally counter with 32% on a brand new vehicle. Sounds like a slam dunk to me.
It’s funny how brokers here think I’m a troll account given I paid to access the calculator. While it’s a new vehicle, it’s 2024 MY which noone wants it anymore. Why do you think they still have it on the lot?
And to answer why would/should they offer me 32%, if you take 20% + $9,900 ev credit + $1000 ev conquest, it’s not too far from that 32%. So it should be bare minimum.
I’m glad this forum exists, as it provides many good data points for us who do deals on our own.
You are being called a “troll” because you posted an excellent deal, asked if everyone thought if if was great or not, everyone agreed it was a great deal, and then you didn’t take it. Instead you posted a fantasy deal that wasn’t even offered.
Usually, inventory sits on the lot because the dealer is not pricing it at market competitive levels. Perhaps the day you call, is the day they decide to take a loss on it, but that’s just luck.
Yes, I believe you said you were going to fly out to get it. Then you followed it up with a unicorn deal on the M60. The community is simply saying you’re doing a ton of talking with zero actual progress with any dealer.
By all means, prove us all wrong and post a deal sheet should you actually get one of these deals. Your hypothetical slew of posts has run its course though.
Generally, BMW’s 2024 lease incentives would have expired in Apr or May of 2025. So its possible that in Jun, there are no incentives for MY2024. Hence, the 20% discount.. but no incentives.
