I guess this is not a great deal for a loaner with 3,000 miles::

MSRP: $69,275
Selling price: $60,349
BMW Rebate: $11,900.00
Residual %: 51.0%
Money factor: 0,0004 after 6 MSDs
Term:36/10kmi
Base Payment: $504
Total Lease Payment: $515

0 DAS

Updating the title / OP (or both) with the model, and not just the drive line, would help if you want feedback.

Looks like an i4. Where are you located? I can beat this.

I’m in Maryland. It’s indeed 2025 BMW I4 XDrive40.

I declined the deal and leaning towards keeping my 2023 I4 ev40 with only 19kmi on the odometer.

What kind of a deal you might be able to find?

Thank you.

I can do 12% off with base MF in Virginia.

Can you, please, give an example of a deal for a $69,275 car with zero DAS, 36/10. I can do max MSDs and also have a trade in 2023 I4 ev40 which is appraised at $32K by carmax. I want to reduce taxes by subtractin $32K from the price of the new car and get yrade payoff as a check for $32K.

Thank you

Does trading on a lease reduce sales tax liability, even with the equity being paid separately?

It does in MD.

@vxb, please fill out my form: https://www.bimmercardeals.com/bimmer-car-deals. I need to get a trade-in evaluation since CarMax can’t buy out your car.

Two MD dealerships had no problem acepting carmax appraisal of $32K

I fully understand that, but I am not going to base a quote on something for which I don’t know the numbers. I hope that you would appreciate that I prefer to be accurate rather than giving you a quote for which there is no basis. I also have dealerships pull payoffs when they quote, because I’d need to see where you are relative to your payoff.

They were also robbing Peter to pay Paul.

It’s why you’re here looking for better numbers and not driving your new car.

Do you know about NJ?

What about NJ do you need to know?

I know about NJ

I know not to drive out there. Not even on Sundays.

If the sales tax policy is the same on leases.

No, it is not.
