In all honesty the only thing holding me up is the length of the lease and the fact that I need to complete the lease transfer before the end of the month in order to qualify for some incentives. I’ve heard it takes BMW FS 3+ weeks to deal with it? As long as the effective date is before the end of the month I would be ok waiting to get the final paperwork as I have 45 days to amend my application.
@Cryptoenologist does have a valid point about the transfer timeline - transfers coming out of the state of CA can often take several weeks due to BMW FS needing to order the paper title from the CA DMV to complete the transfer. I’ve had that process take as little as two weeks but also as much as four weeks. I always try to quote people a ballpark average of 3 weeks, with some potential for variation.
As for the specific incentive being referred to, I’m not 100% confident in the way that the documents are dated so I wouldn’t want to give erroneous advice there. But sounds like it’s some local government/utility incentive that might have a cutoff date.
No more lease support for 2025 BMWs and MF on the 2026s just went up. In other words, this deal just got significantly better. No one still taking a flyer on this? Hmmmm…
