Thanks buddy! I did the software update as I’m not an Alexa guy anyways. And the “hey lucid” feature seems pretty neat. I’m anxiously waiting for Android Auto to release this fall though.
Yes, I took delivery in September since I had a deposit on that vehicle that was going to lapse.
I have the Surreal Sound Pro (SSP) option for $2,900 added into my lease at the get go. Some vehicles have what is “Surreal Sound Pro Ready” which is an option to pay and activate it after a 30-day Trial upon taking delivery. From what I have read, it just means your vehicle have all the 21 speakers and potentially additional subwoofer pre-installed. (Another way is login to your account and look for the section “Upgrades” on the right side of your screen, if you have SSP ready, it will be indicated there)
You will need to stream or locally play from USB, some Atmos music files/content to fully experience the surround sound in the vehicle. When such content is played there is an “Atmos” logo which will be displayed. That means the vehicle’s receiver detected, and is decoding the Atmos content being played.
When I did my test drive, I was fortunate to sit in one vehicle with, and one without the 21 speakers. I can definitely tell the difference.
