A used car being leased? Can you see the carfax? Does it show it being a corporate vehicle or not registered to a person? Maybe this is through a different lender? This is interesting
There is nothing unusual/special about this. It’s a demo. Find similar deals on demos and new units.
Have the dealer send you the full dealer printout if you’re concerned about getting the calculator to work.
Calculator isn’t matching because the MF has been marked up. Confirmed with GM this AM
Was a courtesy veh. Was then registered as corporate/fleet to dealership.
Your front end discount is strong relative to what I’ve found. Most dealers I’vc come across won’t even touch 20% inclusive of the $3k loaner cash.
Which is fine. Just make sure you’re getting the discount you need. If it’s the car you want push a little harder and call it a day. I don’t think you’re too far off.
Although understanding the lease structure is helpful, if the payment is within your expectation, go for it.
Whatever the dealer does to make it work on their end isn’t your problem.
That’s pretty common when a large dealer discount is shown, many dealers structure it in a way make some of it back from the finance side of the equation.
We understand it was a courtesy vehicle then registered to corp / fleet. However it’s unlikely you’re going to bridge the gap of $200 / month.
If this is what you want, I’d go for it, if not then restart the search on another vehicle and see where you end up at.
Yeah kinda getting the feeling the numbers are gonna be the numbers and that’s it, which is fine for them. Just gonna suck for dealer if someone comes in and pays cash, then they make 0 on the finance side
Not trying to be difficult but you have yet to define what a good deal would be/what you would sign at. Remember this is a higher MSRP unit and it’s 15k miles per year.
