2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV 4WT, $269 per month $0 DAS 24 months, 10k miles per year

$625 inclusive of 7.75% tax

I walked into a local dealer with a 2024 3WT demo that was discounted to $63,500 before rebates (from $75,445), but he showed me a printout of the Loaner Discount on '24 Silverado EVs that showed only $2,500. Is that different than the $5,750 lease cash? I told him to look up discounts specific to Loaners and that came up with Equinox, Hummer, etc. all around the same.

He probably baked the 5750 into his ā€œdiscountsā€

I’m offended @bb86 didn’t offer me this WTF

The issue is you’re using the word discount. There are rebates from the manufacturer and then there is a discount from the dealership.

My message here was poorly worded, but the dealer was oblivious to any rebates/incentives. When he found the printout showing the $2,500, I told him to look for ā€œincentives specifically for loaner leaderā€ in the finance system. I am not sure if I shoudl have asked about the ā€œLease Cash Allowanceā€ instead. They also had it on the used lot so no way to build it on the website and show incentives.

Another question, is 10,000 miles typically the limit for GM on loaners that can be leased? A few locally hovering around 11,000-13,000.

GM caps loaners eligible for lease at 6,000 miles. Inquired about a Blazer EV that was literally only at 6,100 miles and was denied lol

It’s capped at 6k miles but do you happen to know the requirements for min miles to be brought out of loner service and be sold as a loaner? 2k miles?

No minimum as far as I’m aware, I know people that have leased loaners with as few as a few hundred miles on it

Interesting thanks! Had a dealer tell me the loaner I’m trying to hack has only been in service for 1k miles and hasn’t finished yet but maybe he was referring specially to a loaner rebate on a 2025? Not sure.

I think it’s either time or miles

Once the loaner is taken out of loaner fleet, an additional 250 miles need to put on the clock. Then it will qualify for loaner ccr discount. 2025 has no loaner rebate at this time.

Yes 2 months or 2k miles.

Thank you for this. So for a 2025 I need to focus on potentially a loaner with miles that could get me to that 15-16% off MSRP to hack a good lease.

I tried to hack a 2024 WT courtesy loaner last month while costco was still around. Every dealer was including the $5750 in their dealer discount. Could not get one with a reasonable pre-incentive discount. After seeing WT in person I decided against it anyways. The 2025 LT is perfect middle ground between RST and WT. Personally I am waiting until end of year, when hopefully 2025 loaners have additional lease cash and costco is back in play.

Who puts the 250 miles on? It’s not a loaner anymore.

A dealership employee. They pull vehicles from loaner rotation and then have employees put miles on them. I just helped a relative hack a Blazer EV courtesy loaner that was still in service, their salesman had to drive it for a week before it was eligible for $3k loaner cash. Miles at delivery ended up being just over 500miles.

The WT really is a hard sell if you’re paying full price, but if you get one at sub-300/mo it gets very attractive.

Exactly the reason I ended up with mine lol - no way I’d pay more than $300 for this

And no way you wouldn’t buy one for $269/mo.

Funny how the human brain is wired…
