GM Financial does not allow out of state transfers.

Thank you for the insight how do you know?

It’s commonly known on LH that GMF does not allow out of state transfers. You can call them to confirm, but for reference:

https://www.swapalease.com/help/lease-company/gm-financial

“Lease Transfer Restrictions
Cannot Transfer in the first 6 months or the final 6 months of the lease term. Transfers across state borders are not permitted. All parties must reside in the same state.”

That’s a hefty payment man, probably need to offer incentives

How or why tf did you agree to a $683 x 48 lease on an Equinox?

You will have to throw some serious money for this to have a chance of moving on here. 700/mo on an equinox is wild. One good thing going for it, is that there is plenty of mileage remaining.

Why so much trash talk regarding the monthly payment guys if you don’t like it move on

The MSRP on a brand new LT is about $30-$35k. Paying 27 months of $683 (plus tax?) might catch a lotta people off guard.

Because politely put, the monthly payment is trash. Comments are only trying to help you move it.

I’m being transparent about the monthly payment if you don’t like look elsewhere

Too much negativity is not good for the forum that why people stop posting in here

Give swapalease a shot. Good luck

OP, I think what most of the commenters here are trying to say is that the LH crowd is a bunch of penny-pinching Scrooge McDucks (without the mountain of gold in their bank vaults), so the idea of paying nearly $700 for a Chevy Equinox is anathema to the spirit of the forum. You might have more luck moving this on SAL, but that’s still a pretty high price for a pretty meh vehicle. Whether or not you perceive their posts as attacking you or not, the reality is that this is A LOT of money for not a lot of car.

No trim level - is this LS/LT/RS/Premier?

No pictures?

No MSRP?

Didn’t call GM to confirm if out of state transfers allowed

$683 mo

Define “like new” Any issues? Dings, chips, stains inside?

How serious are you in trying to transfer this car? You need to be 100% transparent and put the details into this transaction.

For sure, thanks for your comment
