So just to confirm the ev credit is baked in the residual, is it not passed on. Only can shoot for discount on msrp nothing else basically? MF AS WELL. As incentives which im eligible for will be added.
This is correct
Pay the taxes upfront. Donāt let them capitalize the taxes and if possible, try to do a single pay.
I had a buddy do a single pay on a credit card. It turns out the 24% interest rate, ended up being cheaper than the money factor on a $60k vehicle. As he explained it, 24% of the $7,500 single pay is $1,800 (or $150/month). The 2% money factor was based on $90k, but that is distributed over the 36 months, which means he pays $150 more per month no matter what. Now toss in a 2% CC rebate and he came out ahead
Congrats on a great deal. I canāt get the Cadillac calculator to get anywhere close to that. I found a blue sport 3 courtesy vehicle near 75093.
Was this signed last month? I am only seeing $2000 conquest on Lyriq, I suppose could be regional.
Conquest for 2024 models is $3000, 2025 models is $2000.
Hi there, was this in the Houston area?
Found a couple of really good sub $400 dealsā¦called dealership, and āthe payment calculators are not accurate when producing numbers. Our numbers are the accurate onesā - continued to offer a $180/mo higher price. smh
Is this accurate calculation for lyriq ?
msrp: $61.2k
5% discount, 24/10k, RV 71%, MF 0.00089, incentives 7500 + 3250 (2k+costco).
But, when I ask the dealer they are giving numbers close to double of what I see in the calculator. Their MF and RV are the same, and other numbers are the same. Whatās am I doing wrong here?
There is no $7500 federal incentive (assuming thatās what it is) as itās already baked into the residual.
Got it. So the RV of 74% includes the $7500 rebate in their calculations. Is that normal with most EV calculations or just a few of them? this is the accurate calculation then.
Itās a GM thing.
Got it. I need more discount now to get lower payment. I see that @pflaumingo got over 24% discount to make this a good deal. I need minimum half of that number discount to make it work for me. I see I can be eligible for another 2k in incentives.
Do other incentives go into untaxed incentives like I have in the calc?
Donāt know what your āother incentivesā are. Acquisition fee is zero for this unit.
Thatās great to know. calc has this at 695 by default, so final numbers will change a little. Desp fee at $595.
For the calculator, do other incentives like costco, conquest, go into untaxed incentives?
Depends on your state but generally incentives that are not dealer cash (like the ones you listed) are taxed.
Horrid numbers there. Aim for at least a 15% dealer discount and get rid of all those crap fees including the grand in non-tax fees (whatever those represent). Use the calculator and put together your own proposal.
@pflaumingo I donāt know if Iām missing this somewhere or not, but what was the effective dealer discount before the rebates? The calculator link just lumps your discount together.
