2024 BMW i4 M50 Blk/Red $441/mth, $3k down, ($532 effective) 7 MSDs - $74,540 MSRP

You’d think LHs would be familiar with MSDs. Maybe @CarRhino is right and people are just cash poor right now.

Given that I just did another 24 month one pay lease, I’m still of the belief that a good deal is a good deal.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Someone sent me this PM earlier today. I guess they’d prefer to pay an effective $649 for an e40 rather than an effective $532 for my M50.

I don’t understand the purpose of the PM as no other comments were provided.

If someone really wants a slower car, they could always lease my M50 and then only drive it in Eco Pro mode.

Are the MSDs a requirement?

I was gonna say, wait till u get PMs of taking over without MSDs  but I guess I’m late lol

So this frowned upon? or are you just being a dick

MSDs are already built in to the contract, you can’t have it without it. You’re going to get the MSDs back at the end of the lease whether you pay OP that amount or not.

He is not being a dick. He is just making fun of the typical lowballer situation in LH.

I’ve already gotten the offers for $0 down, $0 MSD (effective $342/month).

Honestly my guess at this point is red interior, I can tell you right now I have never had so many people turn down a crazy deal on a car as I have with red interior cars.

Tacora isn’t even a bright red. We get so many requests for it being a must-have. I think it’s fine and wouldn’t mind it being brighter (written by someone who has a BMW with a tacora interior, too).

Interesting. I really like the red interiors on BMWs, especially with M or M-Sport packages. My personal order of preference for interior color is red, then black, followed by a distant gray. I don’t really like tan/brown interiors but will accept one if it’s a screaming deal.:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I like it too, always have, but for example, I probably had 4 people turn down my $1,199+ tax Cayenne Turbo deal strictly because the interior was red.

Well, if the Cayenne Turbo interior wasn’t red, then they would just say:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Red interior for sure.

For the subset that is actually liquid and can swing that down/MSD and monthly for those miles, red seats will knock out 50-80% of your interested peeps and 100% of their wives or significant others.

Maybe the red preference is more nuanced. I’ve seen brighter red interiors in other brands that were a bit overwhelming. But I agree with @Ashleigh that the BMW Tacora Red looks really good.

I didn’t say it does not look good, but it just won’t be for everybody and partially explains why it might still be up for grabs.

Yes, it’s more like a brick red, much darker than the red interiors on other cars.

I dont think its the RED. In general, transfers are just slow right now. Not getting as much interest like it used to be. Im general, people are holding back big time. Not a lot of folks with $7k cash in hand. I had to two swaps done in last 2 months on SAL and have followed some others as well and its the same.

On the red color topic, this is my personal favourite. I hate the other red that comes on the 8 series (too bright) or the ones that came on the 2022 XSE Camrys and 2022 TLX Aspecs which were even more brighter.
