2024 Audi Q8 etron Sportback - $4000 DAS $436/mo 24/10k MSRP $87.7k

Q8 etron Sportback Premium Plus
Will attempt a calculator link later, but these are the specifics:

$87.7k MSRP - 8% discount from MSRP sold for $80.7k - Not a loaner
$15k Audi Marketing Cash to Dealer Incentive
$7.5k Audi EV Lease Incentive
$58,184 selling price after incentives and discounts

0.00285 Base MF (yuck)
64% Residual + 1% for Audicare @ $899

Sales tax credits available in Texas, bringing the tax rate (on the selling price) down from 6.25% to 1.25%. Got dealer to remove all the bogus add-ons (tint, paint protection, etc.) and agree to base MF if I bought a wheel/tire warranty ($1900, got them to $1500). Audicare was basically free with 1% rate bump … $899 and residual goes up by 1%. Could have pushed a bit harder but didn’t have much leverage since other dealers near me only had non-sportback Prestige models, so would have to overcome a 4% residual disadvantage.

Was the only car in the state, started by looking at non-sportback models, with 62% residual, but then realized those were Prestige trim which dropped the residual to 60% (Audi is weird like that). Realized that the Sportback non-prestige had a 64% residual plus the 1% AudiCare bump, so this should be the most hackable.

About 5 Q8 etrons left in the state. The dealer I got this car from doesn’t have any more, but does have a few 2024 Q4 e-trons left which are hackable with $8.5k in Audi Cash, the $7.5k in EV lease money and 64–66% residuals before AudiCare, MF is a bit worse on those but lower MSRP and higher residual should compensate. I would assume in Texas they could choose to use tax credits as well if they wanted. Message me if interested.

After a dealing with Dodge/Stellantis trying to get a Hornet for cheap, this was much less painful.
