2024 Audi Q5 45 S line Premium Plus Quote

,

Hi Friends,

I’d love some feedback on this quote. I think it is still too high but maybe I am crazy. I live in the Houston, Texas area.

I am currently in a lease with a 2021 VW Passat. 18K miles on it. Perfect condition. Blackbook trade-in is $19550. Lease buy out is $17,697.

I am trying for $0 drive off. I have asked to remove the Protection package (originally $990) and they still did not take it off. I also do not want to put $1500 down. MF is .00247 (5.93%). That is after a 40bps markup. On this quote, they cut their markup in half.

I value everyone’s feedback so I am all ears. Thank you!

What’s the quote?

Ummmm, post the quote?

Marked up MF and “mandatory” protection package already big red flags.

@max_g Sorry! It should be there now. I’m an idiot and forgot to post it.

@Dennis885 Sorry I am an idiot. It should be there now!

Throw their number away.

Thank you for confirming what my gut reaction was too.

Hey, at least you checked here BEFORE signing. I’m a long time lurker and you wouldn’t beleive how many people ask about their terrible deal AFTER signing.

This deal looks terrible. I know TX tax is different but you could probably find a broker on here and come out way ahead of this with minimal effort.

100% agree.

I have never used a broker before but I did look into it last night. That seems like the route I may end up going.

You need to understand how leases work. Without a huge amount of support from the bank, your lease will suck.

In Texas specifically you also need sales tax rebates.

Combine the two and you are wasting your time with a Q5.

Check the Marketplace for Texas and see what good programs coincide with sales tax rebates, if any.
