You can transfer One-Pays?

yes you can

Does the new One-Pay lessee need the same as or better FICO score or DTI than the lessee that originated?

I’d lean towards saying they should have an equivalent rating, I’ve transferred cars to ppl with lower fico, lower DTI, but PFS is just a picky bitch in general

How is tax determined for the new leasee with regards to PFS one-pays in various states that tax total lease upfront, monthly, or selling price? I guess it doesn’t really matter, as they would just be taxed on the “single payment” amount on the contract? Just asking for when I get the itch to unload mine

Taxable amount would be calculated as-

(contracted single pay amount / term) * remaining payments

Recent experience here at the wonderful Whitestone DMV in Flushing NY turned into an ugly 3 time visit to register a onepay from out of state only to be charge tax on the onepay. Even though the individuals behind the plexi were shown the contract with tax info show, they could careless. Lucky for us the dealer issued a refund 90 days later but here on this lease swap you’ll get charged tax on those 7/8 remaining months at your local tax.

@GOAT Can you share the buyout at lease end?
