Don’t listen to @Dany1122 , he’s spreading false information.
The deal listed is from Sep 2023 and the market may have changed since then. You need to get some more recent data points and pursue accordingly.
It’s a teaching moment
Is is possible to get any discounts on the RRS? Or should I be just looking to order at MSRP?
You can try for a discount but chances are it’s MSRP
These is a shot but the programs are horrendous
Will have to wait for the model year change over
MF is 10% apr
Thanks for the heads up. Any guidance if there is a deal to be had on the Defender 110 below MSRP? The couple of dealers I spoke with told me it is MSRP pricing.
A broker mentioned 5% off. You can try to go through him or try to get there yourself. I don’t have any other insight.
FYI to anybody looking…Defender V8 has less than 2% MF right now. Residuals mid to low 50s.
Know of any good deals servicing Florida on the Defender 130?
JLR is ZIP code specific on if a dealer can sell to you and they’re no longer importing new cars. God speed.
Auto tariffs may be on pause so stay tuned
I sell Land Rovers. The zip code thing is more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule at this point.
Oh they’re no longer doing holdback depending on area of responsibility? Or are you just getting enough ADM to get over it
It is still definitely frowned upon by JLR, but we can usually fabricate some sort of justification and they’ll let it slide. With that being said, if you are a buyer from out of state, be fully prepared to pay full MSRP plus the outrageously overpriced tint we install.
If we’re talking about Land Rover specifically, they have already made the decision to not ship any cars for the next 4-6 weeks so inventory is going to be scarce this summer regardless of where the tariffs end up.
Nobody should be paying MSRP for any Land Rover right now other than the full-size Range Rover. I’ve been following Land Rover inventory across the country for the past month. New cars are not selling right now. At recent sales rates, Land Rover has multiple years worth of inventory rotting on the lots in models like the Velar, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Evoque. Even the Defender appears to be moving slowly as the GX550 and Land Cruiser are eating its lunch.
Concerns about the economy far surpass any real or perceived impact from any potential tariffs. There’s a reason why Land Rover has the money factor near ZERO on several models, including V8 Range Rover Sports! They are admitting that sticker prices are too high, and they are subsidizing with interest free leases! Crazy.
Get out there folks, and be aggressive as all hell with your Land Rover dealers. Get the deal you want. They WILL cave.
Discovery, Disco Sport, Evoque and Velar COMBINED probably account for 10% of our monthly sales. This certainly varies by dealership but I would expect that just about any offer would be entertained on one of these models.
Defender and RR Sport still do extremely well and actually had APR increases this month so I wouldn’t expect much of a deal on these. Obviously exceptions to the rule, but these are generally sold off of desirability and not discount.
V8 RR Sport is extremely niche vehicle. If someone wants to take advantage of the cheap money factor one these, more power to them.
