10k+ Over?
Indeed. To be fair there are dealers out there asking that for regular M3 allocations.
Did you deal with any kith m4 when they were announced?
Knew of a couple. I don’t think the markup game was nearly as intense at the time as you could still get a discount on an M3/M4 preorder then.
That’s when I found this forum but 100k was way to steep for that
I do remember seeing 7-8% off an order
Kinda insane to think that
Yeah. It was wild because you knew the race to the bottom was going to catch up to supply and parts shortages eventually and right around summertime, it did.
In case anyone is wondering, this is the “50 years of BMW M” edition.
Had to cop one in LRG
My dealer gave me the option to get one, but wanted $25k over MSRP. MSRP is unknown but they’re anticipating at least $100k, and there are no performance enhancements. It’s literally just special badging/colors. I passed.
Will it come in a 6 speed?
6 speed or bust
No 6 speed manual for XDrive cars.
That’s a bingo.
Xdrive = AWD correct?
Guess BMWs marketing team is about as disconnected as their design team.
2017 M3 had a 30 jahre edition.
2023 M3 now has a 50 jahre edition.
6 year MY difference but 20 year anniversary difference?
Looking forward the the 2028 M3 100 jahre edition. Maybe it’ll be at sticker.
(Yea yea I know it’s M and not M3, but stupid for confusion sake)
They will take any opportunity they can to sell cars for 10-20k over msrp with simple visual changes.
Kith anyone?
Just got my deposit on an allocation. My wife has already claimed this one.
The BMW M division was founded in 1972, first M3 was in 1988. It’s 50 years of M and 30 years of M3.
