I can certainly see why you went with the black. Definitely gives it another appearance.
Was there a price increase between 23/24 model years?
I actually went with black cause I’m too cheap to pay for the carbon roof 
. And it’s kind of a must on any color except black. Originally I wanted z blue or Toronto red. I’m one of the outcasts who loves how the M2 looks

Spot on. I’m torn between ordering black, or keeping the Z blue and adding the CF roof.
I hear the CF roof, aside from the weight savings, adds bunch more head space. Less cramped feeling.
Yup, if you are over 6ft and plan to do some track days. Carbon roof will provide more headroom while wearing a helmet. Nothing more annoying than your helmet constantly bouncing off the roof.

Honestly I’d get the CF roof for the looks alone. Make the car look more aggressive IMO

Yea, man. I learned from my old Tacoma TRD Pro (I know, two different species of cars.)
Point is, if the vehicle is small, I almost always remove the sun/moon roof. Ridiculous to be under 6’ tall, and to bang your head on the liner going over bumps.

Clutch got me an allocation but the damn carbon package isn’t available. Ended up putting in an order for a red car with the carbon roof and manual trans with the hopes that carbon package comes available before the lock date.

Don’t get the carbon seats with the 6MT unless you are a lady. Do get the G87 6MT though, it is one ventilated seat option short of perfection in car form…

Yep, I just passed on a car they could get me in soon because it was carbon package and manual. I test drove a car with the manual and buckets and it was not comfortable to shift. Silly design on that.
Just do a carbon fibre wrap on the roof, its what i do

i want m2 now, only because of the m-specific user interface and bolded fontface on instrument cluster, along with the m-specific rims…those 930M bicolor rims are so nice…i just wish they would have blue bay lagoon color T_T
