Indeed. This could be $5/month, but 90% of people couldn’t come up with the 3k…
That’s my biggest issue lately in real estate as a landlord. Very few people can come up with the security deposit AND the rent
Okay now do mine.
Done!

SF and SJ rentals usually require first + last month rent, deposit, and application fee.
It’s expensive to be poor.
SJ is 1.5 security deposit and 1 month rent plus app fees. Even security 8 pays 2200 for a two bedroom which means that the person needs to bring $5500 total.
Scott sorry to derail your thread lol
Whoa - I didn’t realize San Francisco passed AB 12 which starting 2024 limited the amount of security deposit and up fronts to a single month rent. And the deposit has to earn 5% interest.
All the landlords with their swank houses up in Marin and Tahoe now cannot afford eggs since this rent control and deposit control cuts into their profits.
Bump, I am now accepting Klarna & Afterpay for the $3k DAS
If I wasn’t already in one, I’d be all over this. I can’t believe this hasn’t moved yet. Only a matter of time!
Recession indicator here
Between this and Costco offering Affirm….
Yeah, that too, Affirm also, accepting that as well!
You can use Klarna for Chick Fil A.
