I don’t want to pile on but you got crushed, specifically because you are not counting your $14k as real money that’s yours, but it really really is. A lot of us have been there. I got taken (not as badly as you) on my first lease and even on my first car purchase at 18 yrs old. Live and learn, and hopefully the light bulb clicks on for you.
