How many dealers did you have to contact before you found one that actually gave a discount?

I’m starting to form a crazy plan in my head of buying out my Pathfinder lease then dumping it at Carmax as soon as I can and taking that big check as a down payment to buy a K5.

But this all depends on finding one that’s not marked up a few thousand dollars. There are about 50 of them available in my area right now and I’m not picky about any certain color, so I’m hoping I can find one at least for MSRP.

None of them are marked up over MSRP where I’m located. Colorado

There’s a dealership here that’s had two of them on the lot for almost 40 days, but they’re still marking them up about $2-3k. If they’re still there when I’m ready to buy, I’ll see if they’ll drop them or if they’re just willing to let them sit until some sucker pays the higher prices.
