For a M50i I’d say this is actually a great deal.

Candidly almost seems too low… SAL is around $2K or more for a similar M50i…I would definitely do your due diligence and anything that doesn’t seem right, bounce. There is a thread here about the guy never delivering the transferred BMW and it’s a complete disaster since it’s not technically stolen.
I find it funny that he agreed to $127K but couldn’t splurge for the $1,100 to get the extra 7,500 miles.
That is exactly what I did when I took over a lease from someone with cash up front, made them pay to BMW direct, once BMW confirmed payment I signed the paper work. Certified or bank check is preferred as well to avoid any NSF issues! Also head of drawing up a contract at escrow.com or similar.

I saw the original deal on dealerhackr.com where dealers post how they hose clients. This got 100 likes in their trophy garage. I’m just a lurker there.
You know before you get it look at what the trade-in would be, just to give you some idea of a safety net. It looks like you may likely get a better deal if you worked really hard but I don’t know by how much better.
