Buy it out. No additional tax in VA right? Once you have the title, sell to highest bidder.
Just sell it to the highest bidder right now if you’re above water, MBFS allows 3rd party buyouts AFAIK.

Thank you! I think it makes sense to deal with the 3rd party lease buy out. Here is my numbers (approx.)
Residual : $35K
Taxes : $6K
Personal pay off : residual + Taxes = $42K
I am getting offer from 3rd party dealer who is willing to buy out approx. $42K. If I do the deal I save $6k from paying taxes. What am I missing ?

Its a list of 3rd party dealer options so that you can have multiple quotes.
Dont take an offer until you have at least half a dozen offers to compare against.
