2021 C43 AMG Coupe Los Angeles/California

Hey guys,

First of all, thanks for all your inputs on the other topics, I’ve learned a lot already.

Can you please let me know whether the below deal is ok given the current inventory shortage we are facing? I was inquiring about a C43 AMG Coupe in the Los Angeles area but was told you couldn’t order the 2021 model anymore and the 2022 is on pre-order only whereas it isn’t even out yet and I don’t know when it’s going to come out.

MSRP: $63,850
Lease Term: $0 Down/ 7.5k miles / 36 months
Money Factor: 0.00132
Residual Value: 56% or $35,756
Monthly Payment: $1,096 (taxes included)

Am I getting robbed here? I feel like I’d be overpaying for the car but given the market environment what do you think? Should I wait for the 2022 model to come out?

Thanks a lot and drive safe!

If you can wait I would… thats a lot of monies for a c43 amg.

Is that buy rate, what they’re charging, or both?

I honestly don’t know… just asked him what the Money Factor was. This seems to be aligned with Edmunds

Have you put together a calculator with that info to see if it aligns?

Yup, $1,019 and 5.6 years

Yes. 202020

Looks like a purchase opportunity. Finance with the dealer then refi later if they rip you off on the APR.

Just keep in mind if you do proceed, no lease transfers and no third-party sales with MBFS. You’re likely going to be married to this C43 for the term.

Also MB orders are reportedly delayed, so if you want a specific build of a 2022 that isn’t on the ground, be prepared to wait.

Here you

Are you sure this MF is the buy rate? I am getting a different rate from the Lease Program Query for a socal zip code…

Honestly, I don’t know. You might be right. This is the answer I received when I asked him about the money factor…

I just checked, and I don’t see any inquiries from this month about a C43 coupe on Edmunds…

Hmm actually your right. This is what I found for July.

Thank you, you’re right, I’d be stuck with it for the next three years. Just wondering when the semiconductor crisis will end and when the market will get back to normal. Most press seems to say all of 2022 and probably going into 2023 as well.

Nobody really knows. It will likely end at different times for different manufacturers, but remember it’s more than semiconductors (and the latest news is to expect rotating commodities shortages for at least the next year).

Yes you’re robbed for paying that amount of money on a C43.

You are getting robbed now and will get kicked in the :peanuts: one year from now when you see it leasing for $600 a month.

It is not July anymore.

Post and ask so you have the correct info for now foe your zip.
