2020 X3M Competition Executive Demo Good Deal?

, ,

Looking to do a deal on a 2020 X3M Competition “executive demo”. The vehicle has 4300 miles on it. According to the carfax it enters service in May 2019. The MSRP is $78795. I have negotiated a discount off the MSRP price of $14,800 (including inceptions). Total negotiated sales price of $63,995. Dealer is rolling $2500 of my negative equity into the lease and right now the offer includes out of pocket inceptions of 2059 and 2500 cash to cover the rest of my negotiate equity. Dealer is using the standard MF of .00142 and the modified RV of 55.9% for the miles. Total monthly payment right now according to the dealer is $827 + tax (which is 7%). I would like to get another &1000 off the sales price to offset the negative equity, but I am not sure I can get the dealer there (I already walked away once at the end of February). What do you all think of the deal? Is there more room? Thanks.

Hey Man,

I am not sure I understand this part ^^

Can you break down the dealer discount v rebates you qualify for?

Sure. I would qualify for the 4250 bmw lease incentives and the $750 conquest, which totals $5000. The remaining $9800 is what the dealer is willing to discount the vehicle. So, the dealer is discounting a total of $14,800.

that is approx 12% discount the dealer is giving beyond the rebate on a demo.

Not that big of a dealer discount.

I was told by the dealer that they don’t discount M demo cars as high as the discount regular BMW demos. Not sure that is a true statement or not, but I have not seen any deals on the forum on an M demo with a pre-incentive discount higher then 12%.

Brokers On here are offering 11-12% off new X3M!

My msrp for my X4M Competition was 84795 and I got 5500 in incentives. Conquest, Lease cash, and OL code. 3k upfront and 731 a month inclusive of 7.25 state tax on the monthly payments. Only 1500 miles on it. Haven’t seen the final breakdown. They took a $1000 of at the end to make the payment work for me. Not sure where they took it from. There is an X3M with about 4000 miles near me you could get essentially the same deal on

Great deal. New to this forum. Where did you get the OL code?

Thank you my friend. I just found that. Looks like there are no UDE events in my area this month.

You are welcome. Also check seasonal & regional events. Such as Spring sales event, Drive to End Hunger etc.

Will do! Again, thanks.

Mine was from the Pittsburgh auto show

No they aren’t. The dealer is discounting $9800.

Is that pre-incentives or total?

Well, if you do not consider an incentive a discount, you are correct.

I have one posted…13% off pre and base mf…

can be shipped to FL

The incentives have absolutely nothing to do with the dealer. It is not a discount, and certainly not a dealer discount, and you shouldn’t consider it that either.

With an MSRP of $78795, if your selling price was $73795, you would be paying full sticker price.
