2020 X3 M40i 36 month lease

My Current lease on my BMW 340i ends in 3 months & I have a little one on the way. Looking to get into a Brand New BMW X3 M40i my main thing is the Harman Kardon sound system. How are the BMW programs this month compared to last month better ? Thanks in advance

They’re worse.

How so if you dont mind me asking ? Whats the MF the rebates ?

Edmunds is the best source for updated RV/MF/incentive information. That should always be one’s first stop when looking at potential vehicles.

MF stayed the same I believe, but residuals may have taken a hit I remember seeing somewhere on one of the broker posts. Lease cash is also less than last month if I recall. I picked one of these up last month and happy I did since programs got worse lol.

I believe the 2 payment credits with loyalty went away too

That also, forgot about that. Since OP has 3 months looks like he’ll just have to wait anyway or roll negative equity in.

1% lower residual, lease cash stayed the same in south.

Called a local dealer & was told that there is a $2000 rebate & $1500 loyalty rebate. Tried asking about pricing and supposedly on a 66k MSRP with 5 MSDs payment looks close to 740 per month that sounds crazy.

Talking numbers with a dealer is for finding some willing to do your deal. You need to figure out what that deal should be first.

If you blindly ask numbers, the dealer is going to tell you what they want you to pay, not what you should pay.

Any Idea what would be considered a great deal on one of those? When I got my 340i I negotiated for 2 months until i got it below 500

Current lease programs, buy rate MF, 12% pre-incentive. What that is for you depends on what you qualify for.

Thats a Deal I got on the 66,020 MSRP seems a bit steep for an X3

You’re putting 3k down with that offer AND paying all drive offs. You’re getting 0% discount on sales price Before incentives. They’re not doing you any favors and we do not know if they’re marking up the money factor (I don’t think they are at .00083).

Have you confirmed with Edmunds what the Money factor, residual value, and available incentives are for you in your zip code? You may qualify for something that isn’t mentioned.

It’s already been mentioned here you should seek a 12% discount before incentives. Find the information you need and then build the deal before going to the dealership.

Wrong:
Discount is 8.28% or $60,555/$66,020.

It actually makes total sense except they have them paying 7x MSD. I would try for $699/mo tax included on this one with just first and MSD’s due at signing.

11% should get them there.

Buy rate is .00118 since they’re getting to .00083 with 7 MSDs?

Are you suggesting OP continue to leave MSDs and ask for 11% discount before incentives?

It looks as if there’s a CCR. I had initially seen the near 9% discount and even mentioned it, but removed it thinking they were lumping the incentives and CCR together.

I ran it in the calc and on desking sw.

It’s a confusing worksheet (as im sure it’s designed to be) but ultimately it does make sense at face value. And yes, 11% would turn this OK deal into a good deal (shortages in mind)

Reason why Im shopping Now is because my Used car Manager offered to pay me my payoff on my 340 that way I dont have to deal with any excess wear and use on car

Is the wear and tear on your car more than the total of 3 monthly payments?

Nope probably just couple tires but im walking out of the vehicle with $0 liability because my used car manager wants to buy it at Book plus mileage add ons which is like 500$ above payoff
