Hello everyone,
As the topic indicates this is my first time negotiating a vehicle lease. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in the forum, Edmunds, and so on to educate myself as best I can. Please let me know if the numbers below are a good deal or if I can do better.
Dealer proposed a monthly payment (including tax) of $401 and Drive off of $897 based on the following:
MSRP: $37,058
Sell Price:$33,184
Residual: 61%
MF:0.00117
$0 down payment
Acquisition Fee: $650
Dealer Fees:$299
Government Fees: $174
I used the LEASEHACKR calculator to double check numbers and they are pretty accurate.
Thanks in advance for your feedback and advice.
Throw some MSD at that thing to sweeten the deal a little.

Kudos on your research: one of the better first posts I’ve seen (mine included).

Wow this dealer is not leaving $36 on the table huh? Looks like someone who splits the check down to exact change.
Agree with @anon92897398 on MSDs to reduce the MF (the calculator will show you the difference if you plug them in). You’re an effective $425 on a sign and drive before MSDs. I’d roll it in and add those ($0 due at signing) but that’s me.
@anon92897398 Thanks for the recommendation. I will definitely consider throwing some MSD in.
@jeisensc Thanks! I’m plugging the MSDs into the calculator as we speak to see the difference. I appreciate the response.
