2020 SQ5 lease deal

Looking for feedback on the below deal

2020 SQ5 brand new
Prestige
$1k DAS, 763 a month
Tried my best to mock up in calculator
Think there is room in the MF according to edmunds, but know the dealer has to make a few bucks here too.
NJ taxes

Can I do better or is 10 percent pre incentives best at this time? Think I’m capturing all incentives.

Also, is it worth getting Audi care? (Not in calc)

Calc below

2020 Porsche Macan would likely be less

Audi Care for a lease doesn’t make much sense to me

  1. what did edmunds show as incentives? you’re showing 0 and based on my sq5 research it should be at least $2k. if so, separate those out and that means the dealer is giving you much less than 10% pre-incentive discount (probably around 6%)
  2. premium plus leases better because their RV is usually 2 points higher. do you need prestige? i’ve seen premium pluses at nearly this MSRP
  3. i’m not sure i follow @Uzair_Haque point unless i’m missing something, but usually you pay ~$999 for audi care, it bumps your RV 1 point which brings down your payment and it covers maintenance you’d otherwise pay out of pocket.
  4. there might also be a $1,000 marketing allowance they’re using as pre-incentive discount (which is fine)
  5. the marked up MF doesn’t look like much but it’s around ~$50 a month (another ~3% removed from your discount).

After adjusting for the marked up MF and moving your incentives to the correct line you’re looking at an effective pre-incentive discount of ~3%, which is pitiful, especially for a now outdated model. Luckily you’re here and learning!

If you’re able to find a P+ you’re happy with around 65k (or even less) and get to buy rate MF you’d save about $100 a month and a couple hundred at signing. Overall, still not a great deal for a model that was just refreshed. Unfortunately with the Costco discount gone there’s no guarantee you can get 10% off pre-incentive. Personally i’d check with brokers or exhaust your options with local dealers to get at least 10% off pre-incentive

Here’s roughly how a P+ would look with buy rate MF but your current pre-incentive discount and estimated $2,750 in rebates.

Thanks for the reply. They offered 3250 in incentives on top of the 10 percent discount (captured as post sale rebate, and handled at DAS minimizing out of pocket). Is this the correct way to show the incentive? Very bottom of calculator. This is how the past 3 Audi dealers quoted me.

Will definitely be open to P+, with the right packages, so will have to investigate further. Thanks and agree on the MF!

Jeez. Search the forum, there are numerous SQ5 deals out there that you can compare to. Here’s one:

Not one with options equivalent to an SQ5 Prestige.

Audicare for 36k plus mile leases normally makes sense. The 30k service is normally the one that swings it in your favor.

There should be some additional incentives to apply in Nov. right?

I think he has them captured a few posts above ($3,250)
