2020 Porsche Taycan 4s - $596.40/month + $2500 DAS, $169k MSRP! (NJ Tax Included)

You’re also missing 2W9 Power Charge Door Cover. Imagine the suffering of sitting your ass in the driver’s seat then realizing you left the charge door open. Literally undrivable.

So, the Orchid Spa was not the only happy ending?

DAS of $1,234.56 and not a penny more!

No, having the power doors is what makes the car not drivable.

My Taycan had them, a day after getting the car neither of them would open. Couldn’t charge the car, sitting at EA.

I figure whatever, there is a tool in the frunk that lets you pry off the cover if the door fails, no problem right? Wrong! The frame of the door itself is still in the way of the DC charging pins, so you can’t plug the car in anyway. Fatally stupid design choice/flaw. I would never want these stupid doors again.

Sounds like @li8625 needs to increase his DAS, then

$888 is luckier.

lol that is the oddest design choice to add complexity that blocks the DC pins.

How did you guys actually make it to the Cracker Barrel, I’ll never know.

$8888 sounds better…

$888 should be the cost to add a L2 charger to a residential garage. But somehow @li8625 thinks it’s $5k. Maybe he needs to learn how to hack simple home EVSE installs instead of hacking car leases.

Nobody’s available to spoon-feed him an electrician.

Funny thing is that I have 3 electricians on my roll call. 1 in North, 1 in South, and 1 in Central jersey lol. Not to mention, I actually know how to install a EVSE charger personally lol.

My issue is that I have too many appliances at my house so my 150 amp panel isn’t good enough. I have 2 cooktops, 2 freezers, 2 refrigerators,1 central HVAC, 1 electric minisplit HVAC, a hot tub, a electric oven, and a sauna. So I don’t have any room on my panel.

Skill issue. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Why don’t you just get a new house? Geeez. Maybe in a real state like New York.

Get your head out of the gutter bear, all my money goes towards Porsches and insurance.

Oh and Qatar airways flights.

Bro, you’re more likely to find love in a strip club than you are on a Qatar flight…

I figured. Here is for you from Amex:

Haven’t done Qatar yet… plenty of emirates and etihad. Qatar worth it?

I transferred like 1.1 million over during the 30% BA bonus. About to hit platinum in May.

In J, I’d pick Qatar any day of the week in Q-Suite, even herring-bone. Etihad/Emirates are both great, and I lean towards Etihad in most situations

I pay 75k miles + $250-300 for Oneway J between Middle East and America, Etihad is 120k+, and Emirates the same with higher taxes. It’s a no brainer for me.

You don’t have any issues finding award space availability with Qatar?

No I’m flexible date wise, booking for one, and always looking last minute or year out.
