This isn’t a lease deal, this is a spec sheet.

Sorry I’m kinda new here and to car leasing/buying in general. I just wanted to know if the sales price was a good price. MSRP is about $28300

What is the sales price before the incentives? What incentives are they including?

They are not including loyalty and military discounts and from what I have researched there is ~$1000 in incentives (publicly available). I’m asking now what the price before incentives

Ok so he didn’t reply with the incentive amount do to the discount being from “his dealer only”.

But I do think it’s still a good deal or am I wrong?

You really need a lot more information to evaluate this.

Start by stepping back from talking to dealers and go and read through the leasing101 section, particularly the part about how to calculate a lease.

Then, go to the edmunds lease forum for the miata and get rv/mf/incentives. You need to know where you’re actually starting. Use that to fill out the LH calculator given the selling price and MSRP stated above. Be sure to read through the calculator FAQ to make sure you’re not missing anything.

That start to give you an idea of what, if anything, is hidden in this deal.

Remember, talking to a dealer about numbers is for finding a dealer willing to do your deal. It isn’t for figuring out what a car should lease for. If you don’t know that going into the conversation, you’re starting at a HUGE disadvantage. Do your research first. You should never find yourself with a dealer quote in hand asking “is this a good deal?” if you’re adequately prepared.
