I just received an offer from the BMW dealership that’s local here and the offer that they provided for me does not back the monthly payments as I enter them in the calculator. It is substantially off.
Several things:
(1) OR has a 0.5% sales tax on the sale price of new cars that you did not factor in.
(2) Your money factor is wrong. They have marked it up to the max of .00168
(3) It appears they have added a $599 accessory called StarGard into the price that is not reflected elsewhere in the breakout.
(4) The $4900 “Down” is actually just your MSD.
If I “fix” all of that in your calculator, the numbers add up.
That said, the deal is pretty abysmal with a marked up MF, 3.4% discount before rebates, and StarGard. Assuming this isn’t some rare build, I’d shop the numbers. You should be able to get 9-10% off before incentives, without StarGard, and at buy rate, I would think. I’d be targeting this:
Should be doable in the Portland area if that isn’t where you’re looking.
What is it with your PNW dealers and StarGard? Lol.
That’s the kind of crap that would make me give 1’s across the board for pushing trash I don’t need. Take 1% less off on the car and save the adds for CDJR stores.
But yes, this deal is dumpster fire bad. Go back and try again.
